What You’ll Do

-Gemstone Identification & Grading

-Examine, analyze, and grade gemstones (Ruby, Pukhraj, Neelam, Emerald, Fire Opal, etc.)

-Determine origin, quality, treatments, clarity, cut, and color.

Quality Control

-Perform rigorous QC for all inbound stones from suppliers.

-Verify authenticity using industry tools

Supplier Evaluation

-Work closely with vendors.

-Identify high-quality sources; reject stones that don’t meet standards.

Documentation & Reporting

-Maintain detailed gemstone reports for internal and external stakeholders.

-Cross-check stones with labs like GII, GIA, IGI (as required).

Customer Trust Enablement

-Support sales, content, and astrology teams by providing gemstone insights.

-Create educational content: videos, reels, product descriptions, quality notes.

What We’re Looking For

-Degree/Diploma in Gemology (GIA / IGI / GII / GRS certified preferred)

-6 years experience in gemstone grading + quality control

-Strong understanding of natural vs. treated/enhanced stones

-Familiarity with astrological gemstones

-Ability to spot synthetics, heat treatments, fractures, inclusions, glass-filled stones

-Strong communication skills; ability to simplify complex gemstone findings
