Position Overview

As a Game Development Workshop Leader at TUMO Mumbai, you will mentor teens, lead interactive workshops, and evaluate student projects in the field of game development. You will introduce students (ages 12–18) to level design, game mechanics, gameplay storytelling, and programming, supporting their growth in both creativity and technical proficiency.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about game development, youth mentoring, and empowering students to create real, playable game projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-long Game Development workshops using TUMO’s established curriculum and professional standards.
• Mentor students as they work on game concepts, mechanics, and prototypes.
• Evaluate final workshop projects and provide constructive, growth-oriented feedback.
• Review students’ self-learning progress weekly and provide personalized guidance.
• Conduct live demonstrations that inspire excitement about game design, coding, and digital creativity.
• Foster an energetic, collaborative, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in initial training at TUMO’s international headquarters (Yerevan, Armenia) if required.
• Support cross-disciplinary learning when needed and assist with center-wide activities.

Qualifications & SkillsRequired:

• Bachelor’s degree in Game Development, Computer Science, Digital Arts, or related fields, OR a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in game development.
• Expertise in Unity and C# programming (as highlighted in the PDF).
• Strong understanding of game mechanics, level design, character development, and prototyping.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire teenagers in a creative learning environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Job Type:

Freelance / Contract (Workshop-based engagement)

• Duration: Short-term or recurring sessions (Workshop Timing:- 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM)
• Weekends - flexible
• Location: TUMO Center, Mumbai
• Compensation: Competitive per session, based on expertise and experience
