Game Designer

You will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing games based on a brief provided. This will involve creating and maintaining the Game Design Document throughout the entire life cycle of a game. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating Game Concept pitches and presentations, as well as producing necessary illustrations for the Game Design Document and pitches. Your role will also include designing Game UI interfaces and resolving design issues based on feedback or implementation challenges. It is crucial to collaborate effectively with the team, spanning across Programming, Art, Audio, and other departments. To excel in this role, you must possess strong creative thinking skills and be able to generate original ideas. Attention to detail is key, along with proficiency in illustration. Familiarity with relevant software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and MS Office is required. An interest and experience in UI design, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills, are essential. You should be adept at creating compelling Game Design pitch documents, structuring documentation, and following provided specifications diligently. The ability to resolve issues efficiently and demonstrate storytelling skills is vital. Furthermore, your capacity to work collaboratively within a team or independently is crucial. You should be able to work creatively within defined parameters, understand the target audience and market, and possess a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of game development.
