Role Description (Kindly read carefully before applying)

This is a full-time on-site role for a Furniture Designer, based in Gurugram. This candidate will have a strong ability to take client ideas and create an attractive product based on their needs. This candidate should feel comfortable creating 3D designs using Rhino. The candidate should also have an ability to follow budget constraints and demonstrate some pieces of previous works through a portfolio. In most working hours, the candidate shall be collaborating with the carpentry and production teams. (So hope you are willing to get your hands dirty in the workshop). The role involves working closely with the clients or external interior design teams to ensure the furniture aligns with overall design concepts. The Furniture Designer will also be responsible for staying updated with industry trends and materials, ensuring high-quality design and functionality.

Qualifications

• Love for Furniture Design and Product Design
• Knowledge of Carpentry and Furniture making
• Skills in Interior Design
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and creativity
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field preferably from NID
• Experience in the furniture industry is a plus
• Proficiency in Rhino and AutoCAD (If out of touch, brush up your Rhino skills before interview)
