Role Overview:

The AutoCAD 2D/3D Designer will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings,

models, and layouts for various furniture products. The role involves working closely with the

production team to ensure accurate, high-quality designs that meet customer requirements

and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and related software.

• Collaborate with the Production Planning and Operations team to ensure feasibility of

designs.

• Develop furniture product layouts, assembly drawings, and BOM (Bill of Materials) for

manufacturing.

• Revise and update existing designs based on feedback from clients, sales, and

production.

• Ensure designs comply with company standards, safety regulations, and quality

guidelines.

• Maintain proper documentation of all design drawings and revisions for future

reference.

• Support the R&D team in developing new product designs and innovative solutions.

• Coordinate with suppliers for customized parts and fittings as per project needs.

• Provide technical assistance to production staff during the manufacturing process.

• Adhere to timelines and ensure designs are delivered on schedule.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Design or related field.

• 3–5 years of proven experience in AutoCAD 2D/3D designing, preferably in furniture

manufacturing or allied industries.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and familiarity with SolidWorks or similar 3D design

software.

• Strong understanding of furniture production processes, materials, and joinery

techniques.

• Attention to detail, creativity, and accuracy in technical drafting.

• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
