Location: Delhi, India

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Designer to join our team in SULTANPUR Delhi for our sister concern Reddwood Retail Private Limited. The role involves designing functional, aesthetic, and innovative furniture pieces that align with client requirements, market trends, and production feasibility. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, knowledge of materials, ergonomics, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design furniture for residential, commercial, and customized projects.
• Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and presentation boards for client approvals.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware based on design intent and durability.
• Work closely with production, carpentry, and procurement teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and innovative design concepts.
• Develop prototypes and oversee sample production to ensure quality and precision.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, and project managers to finalize design requirements.
• Maintain design documentation, specifications, and technical drawings for manufacturing.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Product Design, or related field.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, or similar).
• Strong understanding of ergonomics, woodworking, metal fabrication, upholstery, and finishing techniques.
• Creative flair with an eye for detail, form, and function.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in furniture design.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
