Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction principles, methods of installation, and the properties of different types of wood (e.g., Douglas fir, spruce, pine). Dexterity and Precision: Excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail are crucial for the exact joints and minimal margins of error involved in joinery and timber work. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve construction issues or modifications that may arise on site. Physical Stamina: The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift heavy materials, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and at heights. Safety Consciousness: A commitment to following all health and safety standards and protocols is essential.
