Role Overview

Backend Developer

Node.js

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and related frameworks such as Express.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented JavaScript / Core Java code.
• Implement asynchronous programming patterns and handle concurrency effectively.
• Integrate multiple data sources and databases (MySQL, DB2, Oracle, or equivalent) into unified backend services.
• Ensure user authentication, authorization, and secure data access across multiple systems.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless HTML5/CSS3 integration.
• Apply server-side templating and CSS pre-processors for dynamic content generation.
• Implement messaging and event-driven systems (Kafka or equivalent).
• Ensure security compliance, accessibility, and performance optimization.
