Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated MERN Stack Developer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to join our core development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development, a problem-solving mindset, and a desire to work in a collaborative, in-office environment where ideas are valued and innovation is encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fullstack Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack.
• Backend Expertise: Develop secure, efficient, and well-structured RESTful APIs and services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Frontend Excellence: Build responsive, dynamic, and user-friendly interfaces using modern React.js concepts (Hooks, Context API, Functional Components).
• Database Management: Design and manage database schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure data integrity using MongoDB (Mongoose ODM).
• Integration & Deployment: Integrate third-party APIs and services and participate in the deployment process on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers in an agile environment to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience in fullstack development with the MERN stack.
• Backend Proficiency:
• Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js framework.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and REST API architecture.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB (aggregation, indexing, data modeling).
• Frontend Proficiency:
• Strong expertise in React.js and its core principles.
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux Toolkit is a plus).
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Tools & Practices:
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools like Webpack and Babel.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in an in-office, collaborative setting in Ernakulam.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Next.js or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
