Core Technical Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain

    Flight & Hotel Search Engines

    with real-time availability and pricing.
  • Integrate

    third-party Aggregator APIs

    .
  • Build modules for:

  • Flight:

    Search, Fare Rules, Seat Map, SSR (Meals/Baggage), Pricing, Booking

  • Hotel:

    Search, Room Mapping, Rate Comparison, Availability, Booking & Cancellation
  • Implement

    PNR creation, ticketing, rebooking, refunds, cancellations

    , and full booking lifecycle logic.
  • Develop

    fare caching layers

    using Redis/Memcached to improve search performance.
  • Build

    B2B/B2C portals

    with markup, commission, wallet, and credit-control systems.
  • Integrate

    payment gateways

    such as Razorpay, PayU, etc.
  • Create

    dashboards/logs

    for booking flow, API errors, payment tracking, and reconciliation.


2. Technical Skills Required

Programming & Backend

  • Strong experience in

    PHP or Node.js

    (mandatory).
  • Expertise in

    RESTful APIs

    , handling

    JSON/XML

    formats.
  • Ability to manage

    high-volume API request/response architecture

Databases

  • Strong knowledge of

    MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB

  • Hands-on experience with

    database indexing, optimization, and stored procedures

    Redis / Memcached

    for performance optimization.

    queues, cron jobs, microservices, and distributed systems
