Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced JavaScript Developer with 7+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust web and mobile applications using the MERN stack. Your role will involve closely collaborating with product managers and developers to bring innovative ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, ReactJS, NodeJS).
• Collaborate with product managers and other developers to design and implement new features.
• Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Manage and optimize cloud hosting environments such as AWS.
• Integrate third-party APIs, including Google Maps, Stripe, and UK postcode APIs.
• Implement CRUD operations and ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Use GitHub for version control and to manage code repositories efficiently.
• Develop and integrate WhatsApp APIs and other communication tools as needed.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, ReactJS, NodeJS).
• Good UI / UX know how, from a customer perspective
• Strong experience with cloud hosting services such as AWS.
• Excellent GitHub repository management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of database management, particularly with MongoDB.
• Experience in writing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with API integrations, including Google Maps, Stripe, and UK postcode APIs.
• very good skills in prompting AI like Chat GPT - CO-Pilot in VSC
• Experience in converting designs from Figma to functional code.
• Visual Studio Code, very proficient in using.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification of Programming, via professional courses.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least 5 years of post-degree experience.
• Masters Degree preferred.
• Experience working on large-scale websites with high traffic.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and design systems.
