DevOps/Production Support Engineer (L2) Experience Level : 7+ Years Location : Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive DevOps/Production Support Engineer with 7+ years of dedicated experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Azure cloud deployments, robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, and extensive knowledge of Linux environments and shell scripting. This role requires a hands-on individual who excels at troubleshooting complex application issues, performing in-depth log analysis, and establishing comprehensive monitoring solutions to ensure the high availability and performance of our production systems. As an L2 Support Engineer, you will be critical in managing production incidents end-to-end, providing expert support for applications, databases, middleware, infrastructure, and network components, and continuously striving for quick resolution. Key Responsibilities Azure Deployments & Operations : Hands-on deployment and management of services and applications on Microsoft Azure. Proficient in utilizing various Azure portal tools for monitoring, troubleshooting, and managing resources. Setting up, configuring, and managing alerts and monitoring solutions within Azure Monitor. Creating and maintaining comprehensive dashboards in Azure for operational visibility. CI/CD & Automation Extensive experience with Jenkins for building, deploying, and automating CI/CD pipelines. Ability to deploy services and spin up instances efficiently using Jenkins. Linux & Shell Scripting Strong command-line expertise in Linux environments. Proficiency in shell scripting for automation, system administration, and operational tasks. Monitoring and addressing space alerts and batch-related alerts on Linux servers. Application & System Troubleshooting Expertise in application troubleshooting, including identifying root causes of issues. Proficient in analyzing various types of logs, including application logs and instance logs, to diagnose and resolve problems. Monitoring & Alerting Experience in setting up and managing monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, SignalFx, and Zabbix (on-premise). Understanding and responding to alerts, including acknowledging and actively working towards timely resolution. Production Support (L2) Provide expert L2 support for critical production systems, encompassing applications, databases, middleware components, infrastructure, and network components. Manage production incidents end-to-end, adhering to defined SLAs, with a strong focus on quick resolution rather than fault attribution. Actively participate in on-call rotations as required to ensure continuous system availability. Database Knowledge Solid understanding of database concepts and the ability to troubleshoot database-related issues. Experience with application deployments involving database components. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 7+ years of experience in a DevOps, Production Support, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role. Proven hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and deployments. Strong expertise in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management. Extensive experience with Linux operating systems and shell scripting. Demonstrable experience in application troubleshooting and log analysis. Proficiency in setting up and utilizing monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Splunk, Dynatrace, SignalFx, and/or Zabbix. Solid understanding of ITIL principles for incident and problem management. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly.
