Frontend React JS Developer – 3D Interactive Web + Shopify Hydrogen

Job Overview:

We need a skilled frontend developer with expertise in React JS, 3D web animation, and Shopify Hydrogen. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating interactive, visually immersive web experiences and has hands-on experience building fast, custom storefronts with Shopify’s Hydrogen framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build responsive, modular frontend components with React JS

• Integrate 3D animations and interactive visuals using Three.js, React Three Fiber, or GSAP

• Develop high-performance Shopify Hydrogen storefronts connected to the Storefront API and GraphQL

• Collaborate with design and backend teams to bring complex concepts to life through animations and interactive UI

• Optimize performance and ensure a seamless user experience across devices and browsers

• Maintain clean, scalable, well-documented code

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in React JS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

• Hands-on experience with Shopify Hydrogen, the Storefront API, and GraphQL

• Proficiency with 3D libraries such as Three.js, React Three Fiber, or Babylon.js

• Animation expertise using GSAP, Framer Motion, or similar libraries

• Familiarity with performance optimization for animation-heavy websites

• Solid debugging abilities and experience with version control (Git)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Shopify Liquid and traditional theme customization

• Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and Vite-based Hydrogen projects

• Understanding of WebGL and shader effects

• Prior work on immersive e-commerce or design-focused experiences

• Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Sanity or Contentful
