We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with deep expertise in ADA and WCAG

accessibility compliance for web applications. The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader

with expert-level knowledge of Angular and TypeScript, and a passion for building inclusive

digital experiences. In this role, you will lead accessibility-first development initiatives, mentor

team members, and help set strategic direction for accessible frontend architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design , develop and enhance Angular-based frontend applications with a

strong focus on accessibility (ADA/WCAG 2.1+) standards.

• Drive accessibility implementation in collaboration with product, UX, and QA teams.
• Conduct and oversee accessibility audits using tools like axe-core, WAVE, NVDA,

JAWS, etc., ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1/2.2 (Level A, AA, AAA) standards

• Implement semantic HTML, ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, color contrast ratios, and

screen reader compatibility.

• Build and maintain reusable, accessible components aligned with modern frontend

best practices.

• Work closely with QA to create accessibility test plans and validate implementations.
• Perform thorough code reviews with an accessibility-first mindset.
• Mentor and guide other developers on accessibility techniques and standards.
• Advocate for accessibility in architectural decisions and cross-functional planning.
• Integrate automated accessibility testing tools into the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to internal accessibility documentation, guidelines, and process

improvements.

• Keep up to date with evolving accessibility standards and front-end frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4 to 6 years of front-end development experience, with significant experience in Angular

and TypeScript.

• Proven expertise in implementing accessible, ADA-compliant web interfaces.
• Strong understanding of semantic HTML, ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, and

focus management.

• Hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools such as axe-core, WAVE, NVDA,

and JAWS.

• Ability to identify, document, and remediate accessibility issues.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive attitude.
• Experience working with or contributing to design systems with built-in accessibility
• Experience leading accessibility initiatives or participating in accessibility-focused

groups.

• CPACC or other accessibility-related certification is a plus.
