Job Description – Billing Executive (Diagnostics)

Location: Jayanagar, Bangalore
Department: Billing / Accounts – Diagnostic Centre
Salary Range: ₹14,000 – ₹17,000 (Fixed Gross)

Job Purpose:

The Billing Executive will be responsible for generating accurate bills for diagnostic services, ensuring smooth cash/online transactions, maintaining records, and supporting the finance team with daily reconciliations. The role ensures transparency, compliance, and customer satisfaction in the billing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue patient bills for diagnostic/laboratory services.
• Verify prescriptions/test requests with doctors and ensure accurate entry.
• Collect payments (cash, card, UPI, insurance, corporate tie-ups).
• Reconcile daily billing and prepare reports for submission to accounts.
• Maintain records of discounts, approvals, and package billing.
• Coordinate with front office/reception for patient details.
• Handle customer queries related to billing and payments.
• Assist in monthly audits, MIS reporting, and insurance claims documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate (B.Com or any equivalent qualification).
• 1–2 years’ experience in billing/accounts, preferably in healthcare/diagnostics.
• Knowledge of diagnostic billing software / ERP systems.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Detail-oriented, with strong numerical ability and accuracy.

Work Conditions:

• Full-time, centre-based role (Halsuru branch).
• Reporting to: Centre Manager / Accounts Manager.
• Shift timings as per diagnostic centre operations.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
