Freelance Regression Test Engineer

remote-friendly contract role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze

  impacted areas

  in FICO and SCM modules during S/4HANA migration.
• Design, execute, and maintain

  regression test cases

  for critical finance and supply chain processes.
• Execute regression test cycles after

  code changes, transports, and migration cutovers

  .
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to

  validate end-to-end processes

  .
• Ensure

  traceability

  of regression test cases to business requirements.
• Log, track, and manage

  defects

  , ensuring timely resolution with the technical team.
• Prepare

  regression test execution reports

  and support sign-off.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of

  FICO modules

  : GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling.
• Solid knowledge of

  SCM modules

  : MM, SD, PP, WM/FWM.
• Hands-on experience with

  S/4HANA migration testing

  .
• Experience in

  regression testing methodologies

  and creating test documentation.
• Ability to

  analyze impacts

  , validate processes, and troubleshoot defects.
• Strong communication skills for remote collaboration.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with

  SAP testing tools

  or automated test frameworks.
• Experience in

  SAP cutover and migration projects
