Role Description

Network Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Automate network provisioning, configuration, and management using

    Ansible

    and

    Terraform

    .
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates for routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Integrate automation scripts with existing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with network engineers to gather requirements and translate them into automated solutions.
  • Manage multi-vendor networking environments (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automated deployments and network configurations.
  • Ensure compliance, security, and best practices in network automation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with

    Terraform

    for network infrastructure provisioning.
  • Solid experience with

    Ansible

    playbook and role development for network automation.
  • Deep understanding of

    networking concepts

    (L2/L3, routing protocols, VPNs, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, firewalls, load balancers).
  • Experience with automation in multi-vendor network environments.
  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows for version control.
  • Knowledge of integrating automation with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize network automation scripts.
