About the Role We’re seeking a skilled 2D Game UI Designer to create intuitive, visually engaging interfaces for our upcoming titles. You’ll work milestone-to-milestone, delivering production-ready assets that drop straight into Unity (or other popular engines) and elevate the player experience. Key Responsibilities Produce high-fidelity mock-ups for HUDs, menus, pop-ups, icon sets, and tooltips that match project art direction. Supply layered source files (Figma, PSD, AI, or Sketch) and export optimized sprites, atlases, and style guides ready for engine integration. Define hover, pressed, disabled, and transition states; provide motion specs or simple UI animations when required. Iterate quickly from feedback, collaborating with developers and the art lead to meet milestone deadlines. Maintain clear naming conventions, slicing rules, and implementation notes for engineers and localization teams. Required Qualifications Portfolio demonstrating shipped 2D game UI on mobile, PC, or console (link required). Deep knowledge of typography, color theory, hierarchy, and multi-resolution layout. Proficiency with Figma or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator). Experience packaging assets for Unity, Unreal, or Godot. Strong written and verbal communication for asynchronous, remote workflows. Nice-to-Have Familiarity with accessibility best practices (contrast, font scaling, color-blind modes). Understanding of localization constraints and right-to-left layouts. Basic motion-graphics skills (After Effects, Spine, or similar) for UI transitions. Compensation Competitive per-task pay, scaled to scope and complexity. Invoices are paid promptly upon milestone approval. Show more Show less
