About the role Create expressive, production-ready 2D sprite sheets—characters, enemies, VFX, and props—that plug straight into Unity (or similar engines) and match our art direction. Responsibilities Design clean sprite sheets for idle, walk, attack, hit, and death cycles (plus VFX frames where needed). Deliver layered source files (PSD, Aseprite, Krita, etc.) and export optimized PNG/atlas sets. Ensure consistent proportions, pivot points, and frame timing for smooth in-engine animation. Iterate quickly from feedback, meeting milestone deadlines. Label layers, folders, and frames clearly for devs and tools (e.g., Spine, DragonBones). Must-have Portfolio link showcasing shipped 2D game sprites or animations (mobile, PC, or console). Strong grasp of pixel-perfect art, color, silhouette, and readable animation at multiple resolutions. Proficiency with Aseprite or Photoshop/Procreate/Krita for sprite creation. Familiarity with frame-based animation workflows and export pipelines for Unity, Unreal, or Godot. Clear written English for async collaboration. Nice-to-have Knowledge of skeletal/rig-based tools (Spine, DragonBones, Unity 2D Animation). Experience matching cyberpunk or neon-dystopian aesthetics.
