iDesign.Market is a B2B SaaS platform based in New Delhi, India, backed by leading investors such as Brigade Reap and Jaipur Rugs. We specialize in building technology solutions for Interior Designers and Architects. With rapid growth and a strong advisory network, we are now seeking a Fractional CTO to guide our technology vision and scale our product to the next level.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Fractional CTO to work closely with our leadership team, define our technical roadmap, and ensure that our product architecture, infrastructure, and engineering practices are aligned with the company’s growth and long-term vision. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with early-stage startups, mentoring teams, and building scalable, reliable tech foundations without committing to a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Evaluate and improve product architecture, scalability, and security.
• Mentor and guide the engineering team on best practices, tools, and workflows.
• Advise on hiring technical talent and building a strong engineering culture.
• Oversee technical due diligence and support investor discussions as required.
• Ensure product delivery timelines are realistic and aligned with business priorities.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role (CTO, Head of Engineering, or equivalent).
• Strong background in SaaS product development, preferably with B2B platforms.
• Hands-on expertise in scalable architectures (Node.js, MongoDB, Cloud Infrastructure, etc.).
• Experience working with startups, especially in fractional/consulting roles, is a plus.
• Ability to balance speed of execution with long-term technical health.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

About the Founders:

The current founding team has over 20 years of experience in the industry and has left well-established careers to address industry problems in proptech. Our CEO (Ashish Dhingra) has been part of the Architecture Construction space for over 10 years and has spent over a decade in international banking. Our CPO (Kartik) is a proven product leader and was heading product in his earlier role at e-gurukul.
