Gigamon s FP&A team is seeking an energetic and collaborative FP&A Manager I to join our growing organization. This hybrid role is based in our Chennai office and provides flexibility with a mix of remote and onsite work. The role will report to the Senior FP&A Manager who is based in our US headquarters in Santa Clara, CA. The team is highly analytical, business-focused, and integral to Gigamon s financial success, supporting key strategic initiatives and driving data-informed decision-making across the company. This is an individual contributor (IC) role that offers opportunities to interact with management and directly impact the company s financial health and strategic growth by providing actionable insights to leadership.
What You ll Do:
- Support the monthly close process in concert with accounting counterparts.
- Prepare headcount and expense reporting, reconciliations and forecasting.
- Prepare monthly budget variance reports
- Create and maintain standard financial reports in the financial planning tool and prepare monthly expense and functional metrics packages, including creating data visualization, for internal management.
- Collaborate on quarterly Board of Directors presentations and key business metrics reporting.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to identify trends, resolve issues, and improve financial processes.
- Upload and reconcile data from the G/L to the financial planning tool.
What You ve Done:
- B.S. in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience in a financial planning and analysis role, ideally for a multinational corporation.
- Expertise in excel/data modeling, data mining, and financial presentation creation.
- Familiarity with Adaptive Insights (or similar financial planning tool), Microsoft Dynamics 365, Snowflake and Tableau is highly desirable.
- An analytical thinker with a proven ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights.
