Founding Senior Mobile App Developer (3-Month Contract | Immediate Start)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Founding Senior Mobile App Developer to join our core team on a 3-month contract. This is an opportunity to build from zero, shape the product, and define the foundation of our mobile experience

You’ll own the design, architecture, and performance of our flagship crypto-fintech app — working closely with backend engineers (TypeScript, Rust/Go) and product designers to deliver a product that feels buttery smooth, secure, and delightful.

What You’ll Do

• Architect, build, and ship a high-performance cross-platform mobile app (React Native or Flutter).
• Collaborate with backend and design teams to craft seamless, modern user experiences.
• Integrate APIs and manage persistence, caching, and offline-first logic.
• Implement native modules (Swift/Kotlin) where performance demands it.
• Debug, profile, and fine-tune for speed, animations, and smooth UX.
• Uphold the highest standards for security, reliability, and scalability.
• Be part of core architecture, design, and product discussions — as a founding engineer.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience building and shipping mobile apps.
• Proven record of launching apps on App Store or Google Play.
• Strong in React Native or Flutter, with deep understanding of performance optimization.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and managing app state and local storage.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and architectural skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in fast-moving teams.
• Immediate availability to join and start building.
• Collaborating with global team in North America

Bonus Skills

• Experience with FinTech or Crypto apps.
• Familiarity with mobile security, key management, and biometric auth.
• Experience with testing and CI/CD for mobile.
• Knowledge of TypeScript and backend collaboration in Rust/Go.
