Role Description

You’ll be our first senior engineer — owning everything from code to architecture. This is a hands-on builder role, but with future growth into technical leadership.

You will:

• Take our working prototypes and productionize them for scale & reliability
• Refactor fast hacks into durable pipelines and modular systems
• Collaborate directly with founders to shape product, infra, and roadmap
• Lead future engineers — we’ll grow a team around you

What you'll be doing

• Build robust Python-based backend services and APIs
• Create data ingestion pipelines (PDFs, emails, EDI logs, etc.)
• Orchestrate LLM agents using OpenAI/Anthropic APIs
• Own infra for retries, logging, and error-handling
• Spin up internal dashboards using Streamlit/JS for pilot demos
• Work in tight weekly delivery cycles — build, ship, learn
• Deploy via Docker in cloud-agnostic environments (GCP, AWS)

Qualifications

• 3–6 years hands-on backend Python (full-stack) experience
• Ability to build frontend in HTML, Javascript and Tailwind/CSS
• Strong in APIs, JSON/XML, automation, async workflows
• Experience with LLM agents / LangChain / Bedrock / Anthropic / Gemini
• Proven record shipping backend/full-stack tools (solo/startup/consulting)
• Comfortable in Docker, GCP/AWS, and basic devops
• High agency: unblock yourself, work fast, prioritize well
• Clear communicator: write good PRs, logs, and Slack updates
• Obsession with clean interfaces, resilience, and edge cases

Preferred

• Knowledge of WMS / TMS / EDI / CPG ERP systems
• Low-code/no-code tool familiarity (Make.com, N8N.com)
• Startup, bootstrapped, or freelance delivery background
• Familiarity with system observability, infra ops, and clean deployment

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelors of Engineering in a technical field (Computers, Electronics, IT)
