About the Role
VINDA is looking for a Senior Founding Product Designer who can take full ownership of the product design function — from defining the design direction to guiding junior designers and interns.
In this role, you will:
• Work directly with the Founder to translate product vision into world-class design.
• Lead and mentor a small team of interns, managing tasks, reviewing work, and ensuring design consistency.
• Make high-impact decisions that shape the future of our product from zero to one.
This is not a typical design role — it is an opportunity to build, influence, and own major parts of the design ecosystem in a fast-paced early-stage startup.
What You’ll Do
🎨 Lead Product Design
• Design intuitive user experiences from wireframes to polished high-fidelity interfaces.
• Define and maintain the design system, UI components, and visual standards.
• Create prototypes, interaction flows, and user journeys.
👥 Collaborate & Execute
• Work closely with the founder for product scoping, concept validation, and iterative design.
• Partner with developers for clear, efficient handoff and implementation.
🧑🏫 Lead, Mentor & Manage
• Allocate tasks to interns and junior designers.
• Review and refine their work to maintain quality and consistency.
• Provide constructive feedback and guide them through design best practices.
What We’re Looking For
✔ Senior-Level Design Expertise
• Strong proficiency in UI/UX fundamentals, usability principles, prototyping, and design systems.
• A portfolio that reflects clarity, creativity, strong visual sense, and problem-solving.
• Ability to independently drive design decisions end-to-end.
✔ Leadership & Collaboration
• Experience managing or guiding junior designers/interns is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work smoothly in a remote environment.
✔ Mindset & Culture Fit
• Curiosity to experiment with new tools and AI-assisted design workflows.
• Passion for building user-centered products from scratch.
