Description

We are looking for an experienced Foreman - Print Finishing to lead our print finishing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in print finishing processes and machinery, with a proven ability to manage teams effectively while ensuring high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations in the print finishing department
Manage a team of operators and assistants to ensure efficient workflow
Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the finishing process
Maintain equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Train new employees and provide ongoing training for the team
Collaborate with other departments to meet production deadlines
Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies needed for finishing processes

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in print finishing or a related field
Strong knowledge of print finishing techniques such as cutting, binding, and laminating
Proficiency in operating print finishing machinery and equipment
Ability to read and interpret job orders, specifications, and blueprints
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Familiarity with quality control processes and standards
