Key Responsibilities

• Inspect raw ingredients, in-process items, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Monitor food safety procedures, hygiene practices, and sanitation across the facility/kitchen
• Conduct routine quality checks, such as temperature logs, product sampling, and equipment inspections
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP, local health codes, etc.)
• Identify and report any deviations or defects in products or processes
• Work closely with kitchen/production staff to correct quality issues and improve procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation, inspection reports, and quality records
• Assist in staff training on food safety, handling procedures, and sanitation
• Participate in audits and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of all food items (FIFO)

Requirements

• Experience as a Food Quality Controller, Food Safety Officer, or related role
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and HACCP principles
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation

Preferred qualification

• Degree in food technology

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
