Floor Manager - Retail Sector

Job Responsibilities:

• Sales Supervision:
• Monitor daily sales activities on the shop floor to ensure sales targets are met.
• Motivate and guide the sales team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve KPIs.
• Implement upselling and cross-selling techniques to boost store revenue.
• Team Management:
• Supervise, train, and schedule floor staff including sales associates, cashiers, and stock handlers.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and address team issues promptly.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Customer Experience:
• Ensure a high standard of customer service across the floor.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
• Create a welcoming and engaging in-store experience.
• Visual Merchandising:
• Ensure the store layout and displays are visually appealing and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Oversee regular replenishment and rotation of merchandise on the floor.
• Coordinate with the visual merchandising team for promotional and seasonal setups.
• Inventory & Stock Management:
• Monitor stock levels on the floor and coordinate with the warehouse for timely replenishment.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory audits.
• Ensure proper tagging, folding, and placement of merchandise.
• Operational Oversight:
• Ensure the shop floor is clean, organized, and safe for staff and customers.
• Maintain compliance with health & safety, and company operational standards.
• Ensure all POS systems, devices, and tools are functioning correctly.
• Sales Reporting:
• Monitor and report daily sales performance and customer feedback to the Store Manager.
• Analyze product performance and suggest improvements in display or stock allocation.
• Loss Prevention:
• Monitor floor activities to prevent theft and shrinkage.
• Train staff on security protocols and handle incident reporting.
• Coordination with Other Departments:
• Collaborate with the store manager, warehouse, HR, and marketing teams for store operations and promotional events.
• Support the execution of campaigns, offers, and new launches on the shop floor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
