Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Floor Executive to oversee daily front-of-house operations in our Pure Vegetarian Indian Restaurant. The Floor Executive will ensure smooth coordination between service staff and the kitchen, uphold high service standards, and guarantee customer satisfaction through professional supervision and quick problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all floor staff including waiters, stewards, and busboys during service hours.
  • Ensure all guests are welcomed warmly and served promptly and courteously.
  • Monitor cleanliness, table setup, and overall hygiene of the dining area.
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen to ensure timely delivery of food and smooth order flow.
  • Resolve customer complaints or service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through excellent service quality.
  • Conduct pre-service briefings to update staff on menu changes, specials, and guest expectations.
  • Assist in training new service staff and ensure ongoing performance improvement.
  • Monitor floor inventory (linens, cutlery, crockery) and report shortages.
  • Ensure billing accuracy and help manage POS-related issues if required.
  • Maintain discipline, grooming standards, and punctuality among team members.
  • Support Restaurant Captain and Manager in daily operations and event setups.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in a supervisory or floor-level role in a reputed restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian vegetarian cuisine (North, South, regional dishes).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle guest feedback and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
  • Well-groomed with a professional attitude.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations and POS systems.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality (preferred)
  • Previous experience in managing floor operations in an Indian or family dining restaurant

Work Schedule:

  • Rotational shifts (Lunch/Dinner)
  • Weekends and holiday availability required
