Full job description The Fire Officer will be responsible for managing all aspects of the fire and safety and equipment operations. Job Description Major Responsibilities: Ensure the firefighting equipment and surrounding area is clean. Ensure all the preventive maintenance activities are carried out. In case of any major problem, Fireman has to inform the Head of Maintenance Department The fire officer/ Fire Supervisor / Fireman should carry out fire safety rockdrills from time to time To monitor the operation of the fire fighting system i.e. hydrant system and. sprinkler system. Has to maintain the daily log as per the log sheet and checklist. Diploma/Degree - Fire & Safety Work Experience Work experience of 1-5 years experience. Good knowledge of current fire suppression and fire fighting techniques, including all related equipment. Good knowledge of fire records systems, communications equipment and use and fire reporting procedures. Good knowledge of the principles and practices involved in emergency medical services.
