Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Research Associate to join our team and contribute to various financial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, generating insights, and supporting decision-making processes across multiple financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze complex financial datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Create comprehensive reports and dashboards for stakeholders
• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasting tools
• Perform variance analysis and budget vs. actual comparisons
• Generate ad-hoc analysis requests from management

Financial Project Support

• Support multiple financial projects from initiation to completion
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, and Management
• Assist in project planning, tracking, and performance measurement
• Prepare project status reports and presentations
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all financial projects

Technical Responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, and data visualization tools
• Work with financial databases and reporting systems
• Automate routine reporting processes where possible
• Maintain documentation of analytical processes and methodologies

Quality Assurance

• Validate data accuracy and perform quality checks
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards
• Support audit processes with required documentation

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) - Mandatory
• Specialization in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in financial services or related industry
• Proven track record of working on financial projects
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting

Technical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, complex formulas)
• Knowledge of SQL for database queries
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Familiarity with financial software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and financial metrics

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
