Financial Research Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Research Associate to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis and preparing reports based on P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow analysis, and capital/operational expenditure data (CAPEX & OPEX). This role requires strong research capabilities and a deep understanding of financial reporting and forecasting. Key Responsibilities * Analyze and interpret Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports. * Prepare detailed financial models and forecasts to support decision-making. * Conduct variance analysis and identify trends in OPEX (Operating Expenses) and CAPEX (Capital Expenditures). * Research industry benchmarks and company performance metrics for internal comparisons. * Collaborate with finance and business teams to support budgeting and financial planning. * Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in financial data reporting and documentation. Key Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field . * Proven knowledge of financial statements: P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow. * Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and reporting tools. * Experience or understanding of CAPEX & OPEX budgeting and tracking. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results under tight deadlines. * Good communication and presentation skills.
