Role Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical financial market intern to join our team at Portfolio Vibes. As an intern, you will gain hands on experience in understanding and researching financial markets, including equities, commodity etc, as well as in drafting in-depth analysis reports. This is a remote, unpaid role for a duration of 2 months, and is extendable based on performance and mutual interest.

Responsibilities:•

Conduct in-depth market research on competitors, investment patterns, and assigned topics related to finance market. •Gather and organise data using relevant tools such as Excel, MS Office suite etc. •Monitor and analyze trends on relevant topics by analyzing and assimilating market news/information etc.•Prepare and update systematic analytical reports and presentations for discussion and review.•Assist in the design, testing, and review of strategies.•Review statements, conduct financial modeling, and track performance metrics.•Support the team with daily operational tasks, record-keeping, and documentation.

Requirements

:•Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as finance, economics, statistics etc)•Experience in a similar role is preferred (but not mandatory)•Proficiency in tools like Excel, MS Office, Notion etc•Excellent problem solving and quantitative skills for research•Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills•Eagerness to contribute in a fast-paced environment•Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment
