Financial Data Analyst

You are invited to join our team at INHABITR as a Data Analyst - Financial Modelling in the role of Assistant Manager. Operating during US working hours (8:00pm - 5:00am), our company is located in Churchgate, Mumbai, India. As a Data Analyst at INHABITR, you will play a crucial role in optimizing business decisions and strategies by utilizing data to inform business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and other key aspects. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining complex financial models in Excel, analyzing large datasets to identify trends and business insights, creating automated financial reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and presenting findings and recommendations to senior management. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Additionally, a Professional degree of CFA or ICMA or equivalent is required. You should possess 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, financial modeling, or a related field, preferably in a fast-paced or start-up environment. Proficiency in Excel, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think critically and creatively are essential qualities for this position. While experience with building Macros in Excel and familiarity with business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau are advantageous, they are not mandatory. Knowledge of financial planning and analysis or working with finance teams, as well as familiarity with real estate or hospitality industries, would be considered a plus.
