About The Team

The Regulatory And Compliance Engineering organization is composed of multiple teams that ensure Stripe has the best-in-class automated frameworks for meeting our external financial regulatory obligations while raising the bar for internal financial data compliance processes. We deliver accurate, timely, and reliable reporting based on robust, immutable, and trustworthy data sources.Working closely with our business partners and regulatory experts, we build data pipelines and reporting capabilities to respond to a highly complex and ever changing regulatory environment while maintaining the trust and confidence of regulators. In addition to that, our Engineers operate Stripe's ledger, which is the authoritative source of record for all money movement at Stripe.What you'll do

Responsibilities

Collaborate across the company, including engineering, accounting, financial partnerships and product teams, to analyze and respond to regulatory reporting, tax and accounting requirements by combining data from multiple upstream data sources.
Build simple, usable dashboards to facilitate the delivery of reports for our regulatory reporting partners as well as communicate clear data to internal stakeholders.
Interface with Stripe's partners across the world to drive alignment between their products and how Stripe uses them, and hold Stripe's partners accountable to resolve day-to-day operational breakages.
Independently scope systematic ways to automate manual processes and drive cross-functional initiatives to successful conclusions.
