Financial Controller

Role Overview: You will be joining our Salesforce Professional Services Team as a Financial Controller, where you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our projects and ensuring the financial health and compliance of our operations. Your role will be pivotal in supporting project planning, forecasting, and providing financial insights to support project delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, exceptional analytical skills, and a successful track record in financial management within the professional services industry. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain financial models to support project planning and forecasting. - Conduct Financial Planning and Analysis activities. - Monitor project budgets and track financial performance against targets. - Prepare regular forecasts and variance analyses to assess financial performance and identify risks and opportunities. - Generate timely and accurate financial reports for internal partners and management. - Collaborate with project teams to provide financial insights and support project delivery. - Liaise with Revenue Recognition and Finance teams. - Engage with clients to discuss project financials, billing, and invoicing as required. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. - Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives. - Identify opportunities to optimize margins and hours. - Manage resourcing and staffing plans. - Lead continuous improvement efforts. - Analyze and optimize contingency usage. - Prepare and endorse attestation financials. - Drive partner communications and change orders. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred. - Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management and 2+ years of experience in the IT industry. - Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. - Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel or Google sheet skills. - Experience with financial systems and tools, preferably ERP systems and Salesforce. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels. - Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. - Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. - Data analytics and/or Tableau experience is preferred.,
