Job Description

As a Finance Controller, your role will focus on fund management, internal control implementation, budget preparation, reporting compliance, and transaction reporting process. Here are your key responsibilities: - Fund Management and Reporting: You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the funds within the organization. - Budget Preparation: Assisting in creating the annual budget and monitoring its implementation. - Financial Reporting: Ensuring accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. - Compliance: Making sure that all financial reporting complies with regulatory standards and internal policies. - Manage and monitor banking limits and requirements. Additionally, you will be involved in financial management and analysis, which includes: - Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. - Risk Management: Identifying financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. - Decision Support: Providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions. - MIS preparation for Management. You will also handle corporate tax matters, ensuring compliance with tax laws and optimizing the company's tax position: - Tax Compliance: Ensuring the company complies with all relevant tax regulations and filing requirements. - Tax Planning: Developing strategies to minimize tax liabilities and take advantage of tax incentives. - Handling of income tax related matters and assisting CFO in hearings with CIT. - Handling of scrutiny cases with IT, Service Tax, and others. Moreover, Treasury Management will be part of your responsibilities, involving: - Developing and implementing cash flow forecasting models to ensure smooth operations and financial stability. - Collation of data for projects assigned specifically for monitoring. Qualifications required for this role include being a CA with at least 12 or more years of experience and exposure to Operations Accounting. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, working knowledge of SAP, and experience in a multi-location, multi-divisional setup with exposure to tight time schedules. Your personal characteristics and behavior should include a high level of commitment, integrity, being a tough taskmaster, and the ability to lead from the front. You will also have internal interactions with Intra BU, Inter-location coordination, peers, superiors, subordinates, and senior management, as well as external interactions with consultants/auditors, banks, vendors, customers, and statutory authorities. You will be responsible and accountable for the overall quality, safety, and security of operations.,
