Financial Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, and supporting audits to ensure compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. - Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals. - Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles. - Assist with external audits and work closely with auditors to resolve any discrepancies or queries. - Prepare and submit tax filings, including VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory returns. - Maintain and update the general ledger and other financial records in accounting software. Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Proven experience of 4-5 years as a Financial Accountant or similar role in accounting. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. - Proficiency in accounting software such as busy/tally and Microsoft Excel. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Familiarity with tax laws and regulations is desirable. Preferred Skills: - Exposure to internal and external audits. - Knowledge of financial analysis and reporting. - Ability to adapt to changing financial regulations and business needs.,
