As a Financial Accountant at our company, your role will be crucial in maintaining accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and providing support for audits. Your responsibilities will include: - **Financial Reporting:** - Prepare and maintain precise financial statements following IND AS. - Ensure timely closure of accounts at month-end and year-end. - Assist in consolidating financials, as required. - Support in preparing financial disclosures and notes to accounts. - **GST Compliance:** - File monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns such as GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc. - Reconcile GST input credit with GSTR-2A/2B and books of accounts. - Communicate with consultants or authorities for GST assessments or notices. - Maintain documentation for GST audits and refunds. - **General Accounting:** - Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations. - Supervise fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and amortization. - Ensure compliance with all statutory laws and regulations. - **Audit & Compliance:** - Collaborate with internal and statutory auditors for audits and resolve audit queries. - Assist in establishing internal financial controls and processes. - Support tax audits, transfer pricing, and income tax assessments if necessary. Your key skills and competencies should include: - Strong knowledge of IND AS and financial reporting standards. - Comprehensive understanding of GST laws, procedures, and filing requirements. - Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, SAP, Oracle, or any ERP system. - Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's Degree in Commerce / Accounting is mandatory. - CA Inter / Qualified Chartered Accountant or M.Com / MBA Finance is preferred. - Minimum 3-7 years of relevant experience in accounting with exposure to IND AS and GST.
