Finance/Accounting Lead

The Finance/Accounting Lead is responsible for managing the overall financial health of the organization. This includes overseeing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. The role involves supervising the accounting team, streamlining financial processes, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance and accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Develop budgets and financial forecasts; monitor variances and provide analysis.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, FBR, and other government authorities (in coordination with legal consultants).
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Manage banking relationships and monitor cash flow and treasury operations.
• Implement internal controls and conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Supervise the preparation of sales tax invoices and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.

Skills:

• Minimum 7+ yrs of experience in Finance. 
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/ACCA/MBA Finance is a plus).
• Proven experience in a finance leadership role.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, taxation, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
