Job Description

As a Regulatory Reporting Senior Analyst at Citi, you will have a key role within the Controllers Organization reporting to the Head of Regulatory and Capital Reporting. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Supporting the production, review, and timely submission of regulatory filings and reports to local regulators. - Monitoring and managing key metrics associated with reports to identify challenges and issues, and supporting the implementation of processes and controls to mitigate the risk of inaccurate reporting. - Collaborating with the team to drive process improvements for enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of the regulatory reporting process. - Assisting the team during regulatory inquiries and examinations by delivering accurate information and analysis to aid regulatory reviews. - Working with peers and program leaders on the implementation of local regulatory changes within the reporting framework. - Partnering with the Risk & Controls team to maintain and enhance an effective internal controls structure. - Operating with a limited level of direct supervision, exercising independence of judgment and autonomy. - Performing analysis of financial results and concluding the cause of variances. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting. - Foundational knowledge of U.S. regulatory reports, Basel III capital regulations, GAAP/SEC Reporting, and stress testing frameworks like CCAR. - Ability to navigate through a large organization to streamline and summarize multiple information points and create repeatable processes for consistency. - Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex concepts and influence change. - Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies, and other issues, bringing together the right team to resolve them. - Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic environment and work effectively as part of a team. - Experience in managing large tasks in complex environments. Education requirement for this role is a Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. You will be part of the Finance job family group, specifically in the Regulatory Reporting job family. This is a full-time position.
