Finance Regulatory Reporting, Assistant Vice President

As a Regulatory Reporting Senior Analyst within the Controllers Organization at Citi, your role involves supporting the preparation, analysis, and submission of regulatory reports to various constituencies such as local regulators. You will work closely with other Finance and non-Finance functions throughout Citi to ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting. Your position offers high visibility within the organization and opportunities for collaboration with different teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support the production, review, and timely submission of regulatory filings and reports to local regulators. - Monitor and manage key metrics associated with reports to identify challenges and issues, implementing processes and controls to ensure accurate reporting. - Collaborate with the team to drive process improvements for enhanced accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in regulatory reporting. - Assist the team during regulatory inquiries and examinations by providing accurate information and analysis. - Work with peers and program leaders to implement local regulatory changes within the reporting framework. - Partner with the Risk & Controls team to maintain and enhance an effective internal controls structure. - Operate with a limited level of direct supervision, exercising independence of judgment and autonomy. - Perform analysis of financial results to determine causes of variances. **Qualifications:** - 5+ years of extensive experience in the financial services industry and regulatory reporting. - Foundational knowledge of U.S. regulatory reports, Basel III capital regulations, GAAP/SEC Reporting, and stress testing frameworks like CCAR. - Ability to streamline and summarize information points within a large organization, creating repeatable processes for consistency. - Strong oral and written communication skills to synthesize complex concepts and drive change. - Strong technical problem-solving skills to identify conflicts, discrepancies, and issues for effective solutions. - Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment and work well within a team. - Experience in managing large tasks in complex environments. **Education:** - Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
