Finance Manger

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the Finance department in all accounting aspects, finance operations (AP, AR and GL), monthly account closing, annual statutory financial statements preparation, audit, various tax returns etc.
• Prepares monthly management report on business, actual performance versus budget and prior year result, and provides insights to management to drive financial excellence.
• Identify areas for cost reductions and operational improvements.
• Clarify with respective managers when their departmental expenses surpass approved budget and partner with them on bridging the gap to achieve financial excellence.
• Improve and drive working capital health including AP and AR aging in line with financial KPI.
• Oversee, optimize, and manage monthly liquidity, cash flow forecast, cash position and various payment obligations including loan repayment and interest payment, in line with company policies and KPI.
• Ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable laws and procedures, including but not limited to tax-related reporting, statutory audit reporting, annual filing etc.
• Partner with Legal team for securing the required business permits, licenses, business related insurance and clearances by filing the required documents and paying the necessary fees at government agencies and regulatory bodies (BIR, City Hall, Barangay, etc.)
• Maintain proper financial controls which include amongst others, reconciliations with proper audit trial and in line with company policies.
• Ensure that all projects and finance deliverables meet established deadlines.
• Hands on experience in Netsuite, Tally & ERP.
• All other tasks as requested by Group CFO.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimally 8 years of experience in financial audit, financial reporting, management reporting, and/or FP&A with team management exposure
• Audit experience from Big 4 or medium size audit firm is preferable
• Excellent ability to problem solves along with solid analytical skills, understanding of business drivers, processes and systems optimization
• Comfortable interacting with all levels of management in multiple areas
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards
• Ability to review and analyze data and offer insightful recommendations to management
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Point and Word
