Job Description

We are seeking a highly capable and driven finance professional to lead and manage the company’s credit rating processes, loan structuring and negotiations, and support broader corporate finance initiatives. This individual will work closely with external lenders, credit rating agencies, internal stakeholders, and advisors to ensure robust credit health, cost-effective funding, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Credit Rating Management

  • Liaise with credit rating agencies for periodic reviews and ensure timely submission of required information.
  • Develop and maintain rating rationale documents, management presentations, and analytical responses.
  • Monitor rating triggers, credit covenants, and their implications on borrowing limits, terms, and cost of capital.

2. Loan Interactions & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
  • Lead end-to-end loan lifecycle processes—from term sheet discussions and structuring to drawdown, compliance, and repayment.
  • Maintain accurate records and oversee facility-related documentation, renewals, and restructuring activities.

3. Loan Proposals & Credit Notes

  • Prepare high-quality credit proposals, information memoranda, and financial models.
  • Conduct cash flow and debt servicing analysis to support funding requests.
  • Collaborate with legal, operations, and treasury teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of submissions.
  • Present proposals to internal committees and external financiers as needed.

4. Corporate Finance Support

  • Support strategic initiatives involving capital structure planning, refinancing, and funding optimization.
  • Perform scenario analysis and financial modeling for internal business decisions or M&A considerations.
  • Track macroeconomic indicators, interest rate trends, and regulatory changes relevant to corporate finance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
  • 7–12 years of experience in credit, corporate finance, or investment banking roles.
  • Strong understanding of credit appraisal processes, banking products, and financial modeling.
  • Proven experience in managing rating agency interactions and loan documentation.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
