Job Description

Manager-Finance & Acocunts

Key Responsibilities

Oversee Financial Operations:

  • All day-to-day financial activities like payments, invoicing, and cash flow management are running smoothly.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure the company is sticking to its budgets.
  • Work closely with the operational team to ensure that financial plans align with business strategies.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Work with department heads to set the companys budget for the year.
  • Create financial forecasts based on current data and market conditions, providing insights into future performance.
  • Drive the performance and ensure that they are inline with budgets

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and present financial MIS and other reports to management and key stakeholders.
  • Reports are easy to understand and provide insights into the company s financial performance.
  • Run through with the operational team and key-stakeholder and track their financial performance metrics and targets.

Overview of Compliance

  • Review of GST and TDS filings and ensure timely filings
  • Ensure timely submission of information for the notices

Product Costing

  • Perform product costing for new products
  • Review of existing product costings and suggest for price change
  • Monitoring and analyzing expenses to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement

Team Leadership:

  • Lead the accounts team and support them in their jobs effectively.
  • Provide training and guidance to improve team performance.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Qualification would be CA.

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in preparation of MIS and budgeting

Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
  • Experience in using the ERP system of Microsoft Business Central ERP along with LS Retail added advantage.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters and confidential information.
  • Strong Analytical skills

Communication & Relationship Management:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to manage key-stakeholders and investor relations.
