Role Overview We are looking for a Sea Operations Executive to manage USA-bound deliveries and handling , ensuring smooth coordination with customers, shipping lines, agents, and hauliers. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of U.S. Customs processes , U.S. haulage bookings , and be comfortable working in late-night hours to align with U.S. time zones. This is a customer support-focused role – no sales or cold calling is required. Key Responsibilities Coordinate sea freight operations for shipments to/from the USA. Handle U.S. Customs documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage haulage bookings in the U.S. (drayage, deliveries, container movements, etc.). Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment updates, documentation, and delivery status. Liaise with U.S. agents, shipping lines, and other stakeholders to ensure timely cargo movement. Resolve operational issues and escalate where necessary to ensure customer satisfaction. Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and system updates for all shipments. Provide excellent customer service with proactive communication. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field). Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Sea Freight / Ocean Operations , preferably handling USA shipments . Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, ISF filing, and import/export compliance . Experience in U.S. haulage bookings and delivery coordination . Excellent communication skills (spoken and written English is mandatory). Ability to work in late-night shifts to align with U.S. business hours. Detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused approach. Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software (Cargowise, etc. preferred but not mandatory).
