Finance Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities for the organization
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements (including GST, Income Tax) and corporate governance norms
• Lead cost optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives across operations, with a focus on raw material usage and energy efficiency
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth, capital investment, and risk management
• Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and sales teams to align financial planning with operational goals
• Prepare and analyze timely and accurate Financial MIS reports for senior management
• Support audits (internal, statutory, tax) and ensure finalization of accounts as per applicable standards
• Monitor inventory costing, product margins, and CAPEX control, particularly in the potato processing segment

Job Requirements:

• Education: CA / M.Com / B.Com
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or large trading organization (experience in food/agri-processing is a plus)
• Proficient in Tally and ERP systems used in manufacturing environments
• Strong working knowledge of taxation (GST, Income Tax) and costing methodologies
• Excellent analytical and financial planning skills
• Demonstrated team handling and team-building capabilities
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (advanced level) and PowerPoint

Technical Competencies:

• Strong analytical thinking and decision-making capabilities
• Experience in data mining and financial modeling
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, GST regulations, and direct tax laws
• Familiarity with cost control metrics in a food manufacturing setup (e.g., yield analysis, wastage control, process costing
