Based in Hyderabad, the Senior Manager of Compliance will play a pivotal role in various compliance-related tasks, including: - Managing annual statutory audits by liaising with internal teams, preparing audited financial statements, and supporting footnotes, in addition to collaborating with external auditors for timely completion. - Overseeing the annual tax return process and ensuring accurate filing of all required India tax documents in collaboration with external tax consultants. - Handling monthly and quarterly GST tax workings and filings. - Coordinating with third-party tax teams for an annual transfer pricing study. - Leading compliance audits initiated by competent authorities and supporting Finance leaders in responding to such audits. - Collaborating with internal stakeholders to facilitate the merger process of two India-based legal entities into one. While this role may involve domestic travel, extensive travel is not mandatory. The ideal candidate should possess the following personal attributes: - Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) to engage effectively across all levels of the organization. - Strong people and stakeholder management abilities. - Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably in a mid-sized organization. - Proficiency in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and understanding quality resources. - Hands-on experience with Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office tools, presentation, project management tools, and ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics. - Demonstrated analytical and logical thinking skills. - Willingness to travel between locations. - CA qualification or equivalent. Finance Business Partner Manufacturing & Distribution Finance, partners with global leaders both Manufacturing operations & finance in driving various key strategic Manufacturing priorities of Avantor. This position also actively partners with multiple stakeholders including supply chain leadership team on a day-to-day basis to meet the ongoing business requirements. This position is responsible to act as process champion/Subject Matter Expert of manufacturing & distribution finance and enable the Global Supply chain team in effective decision making by providing necessary insights by assessing Past & Current performance of the business and provide necessary support in building plans/forecasts. Factory site metrics include Headcount, Direct and Indirect spend, Inventory, Freight, Productivity savings, under & over absorptions, manufacturing variance etc. Preparation of monthly & quarterly forecast figures (Hours, Absorption cost, Conversion cost, projected headcount requirement to meet the volume.) and submit them to finance leadership team. Supporting the site on preparation, review, and submission of the Annual operating plan. Actively involved in performance review discussions with Operations leadership teams and providing necessary suggestions to the leadership team on the way forward approach Review & forecast of CAPEX requirement for the sites & actual saving realization tracking. CA/ICWAI/CPA/MBA Finance from reputed universities. 6+ years of experience in Finance preferably in FP&A from MNCs Captive Finance Shared Services Organizations/Global Centers. Minimum 5 Years of experience in Supply Chain Finance specially in manufacturing finance at a global/business unit level. Prior working experience in MNCs Captive Shared Services Organizations/Global Centers or in Indian reputed Product based manufacturing companies. Prior experience in supply chain analytics for Pharma/ lab supplies industry, chemical research, chemical technology or automobile companies preferred. Six Sigma or Lean training preferred, but not mandatory. A working knowledge of the wide-ranging aspects of the supply chain such as sourcing logistics, product costing, spend analytics, should cost anlaysis etc. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently) Working experience in manufacturing & Warehouse environment is mandatory Transformation mindset - Open to accept, adopt, absorb the change in way of working, structure and Content.
