Finance Collections Analyst

As a Finance Collections Analyst at Cognyte in Gurgaon, India, you will play a crucial role in managing global collections and optimizing collection processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with stakeholders, performing data analysis, designing and implementing enhancements to ERP-based collection processes, and leading cross-functional initiatives to improve Order-to-Cash process efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Manage collections at the global level/regions by coordinating with stakeholders internally & externally - Perform data analysis using strong excel knowledge for global regions - Design and implement ERP-based collection process enhancements, integrating with Salesforce and other platforms - Lead initiatives to improve Order-to-Cash process efficiency - Build forecasting models for collections based on data analytics and predictive insights - Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and sales teams for technical solutions alignment - Drive automation and digitalization in collections reporting, tracking, and escalation procedures - Monitor and resolve issues in the collections process; recommend process improvements - Develop and document standard operating procedures for collection processes - Work closely with global regions, understanding global processes and work culture Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in F&A, Business, Information Systems, MBA, or Masters in F&A - Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst - Deep understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce) and their impact on finance processes - Proven implementation experience in ERP and Salesforce modules, system integrations - Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash lifecycle and collections best practices - Proven experience in business finance operational processes, data analysis, and process improvement - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Join Cognyte to utilize your expertise in finance collections and contribute to making the world a safer place through leading investigative analytics software solutions.
