Finance Business Partner

As a Finance Business Partner for the Pumps Business Line (BL) at Metso, you will play a key role in driving superior business performance by providing financial insights and recommendations to the BL head and management team. Your understanding and management of end-to-end processes, from sales and purchase to operation and manufacturing, will be crucial in delivering from a financial viewpoint. Your responsibilities will include: - Standardizing BL strategy, annual planning, monthly reporting and analysis, ad hoc analysis, BL investment management, NWC management, development activities, and general management activities for the BL. - Providing business analysis to the head of Pump BL to facilitate business decisions. - Proactively identifying, taking up, and implementing necessary actions related to the business lines" overall financial performance. In the role of Finance Business Partner, you will act as a strategic finance partner to the Pumps BL management team, delivering insights and analysis to support decision-making across key initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading monthly financial close activities and presenting monthly financial results to BL and Business Area (BA) management. - Managing and updating Pumps BL Power BI dashboards and reports used by leadership. - Supporting the annual strategic planning process and contributing to strategic initiatives. - Coordinating the annual financial planning cycle, resolving intercompany issues, overseeing cost allocations, and ensuring adherence to pricing policies. - Representing the BL in quarterly global logistics reviews. To be successful in this role, you should have a recognized degree in finance or engineering, a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a multinational company, and strong data analytical capabilities. You should also possess problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills in spoken and written English. Additionally, good SAP skills and preferably previous experience from Onestream and Power BI are desired, along with the ability to travel internationally.
