Job Title: Accounts Executive
Location: Kandivali West, Mumbai
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (2nd & 4th Saturday Off)
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
(Flexibility for extended hours during peak periods is expected)

About the Role

Yava Corp is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Executive with strong experience in shares accounting and day-to-day financial operations. The role requires hands-on knowledge of Tally and Zoho Books, along with the ability to manage accounting records related to share transactions. Exposure to demat operations is an added advantage but not the primary focus of this role.

Key ResponsibilitiesShares & Financial Accounting

• Maintain accurate accounting of share transactions, investments, and related entries
• Record purchase/sale of shares, brokerage, charges, and reconciliations
• Ensure proper classification and reporting of investment-related accounts

Accounting Operations

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries using Tally / Zoho Books
• Manage invoices, expenses, vendor payments, and bank entries
• Perform bank, ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records

Compliance & Support

• Assist in GST and TDS workings, returns preparation, and filings
• Support internal and external audits with required data and documentation
• Coordinate with consultants, auditors, and internal teams for compliance follow-ups

Demat & Transaction Support (Secondary Responsibility)

• Basic handling of demat-related records and coordination when required
• Support share transfers through NSDL/CDSL platforms (SPEED-e / Easiest exposure preferred but not mandatory)
• Maintain transaction documentation and records

Candidate Requirements

• Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent commerce background
• Experience: 1–3 years in accounting, preferably with exposure to shares/investments accounting
• Software Skills:
• Strong working knowledge of Tally
• Experience with Zoho Books is preferred
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Understanding of basic demat operations is an added advantage
• Willingness to work extended hours during critical work cycles
• High level of accuracy, responsibility, and ownership of work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kandivali West, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
